Brief

To showcase the innovative and groundbreaking work being done by the All Wales School Liaison Core Programme to promote the programme within the Police and stakeholders to gain funding and further support for future work.

The Approach

The All Wales School Liaison Core Programme has become a great success, bringing clear benefits to schools, pupils and the wider community, especially in the field of drug abuse prevention, where it has served to give young people accurate information on the legal and physical consequences of drug taking. The film focused on the dedicated Police Officers who deliver the programme in schools throughout Wales and followed their work to highlight the positive benefits it brings to young people. The film also contains contributions from school headmasters, governors and the pupils themselves and clearly shows how essential the programme is. Interviews were conducted in Welsh and English.
